enter Huawei seeks to delight and engage people at every touchpoint. Prior to Christmas, it needed an innovative and engaging competition idea which would help promote its latest flagship model, the Huawei P9, and get people talking about the brand on Facebook.
My team and I produced an innovative Facebook Live video where viewers had to keep an eye on a three-hour feed and comment with a screenshot of Santa when he appeared in the video and the time it happened. We bypassed Facebook Live sponsoring limitations by activating a network of influencers to share the live feed as it happened.
Huawei’s Christmas social activation was a major success and the video was viewed over 14,000 times, reaching 381,322 people and garnering 6,138 engagements with the target audience.
